Staff from the Indian Residential Schools Adjudication Secretariat(IRSAS) will be on hand in Ottawa when the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) holds its final National Event, May 31 – June 3, 2015. Employees from the Client Services Unit work a booth where they can meet with claimants, provide updates on the status of claims and answer questions about the IAP. All residents in the National Capital Region are encouraged to participate in the Walk for Reconciliation, which will be held on Sunday May 31. The Walk will start from École secondaire de l'Île, 255 rue Saint-Rédempteur Street in Gatineau (next to the Robert Guertin Arena, where there will be parking). A stage program begins at 11AM and the Walk will start at Noon on Sunday May 31, 2015. The Walk will end at Marion Dewar Plaza (Ottawa City Hall), 110 Laurier Ave. West.

Come show your support for reconciliation between Aboriginal and non Aboriginal People.
