Ottawa, February 11 2013 – The Chief Adjudicator of the Indian Residential Schools Adjudication Secretariat (IRSAS) today issued a notice regarding Mr. Ivon Johnny, a person with a serious criminal record, pursuant to an order issued by the BC Supreme Court.

The Court directed that the Chief Adjudicator advise all claimants in the IRS settlement process that an order has been issued by the Court removing Mr. Ivon Johnny from all participation in the Independent Assessment Process.

The Chief Adjudicator has issued a notice that is being distributed to community organizations and claimants in the affected area of British Columbia. The notice is available on the IRSAS website.
